Fibre Reinforced Concrete
BDR FibreCrete
BDR FibreCrete is a high-performance fiber-reinforced concrete engineered to provide enhanced resistance against tensile stresses, thereby significantly reducing shrinkage cracks during both the early and later stages of concrete hardening.
This performance is achieved through the incorporation of polypropylene and polyester fibers, which compensate for concrete’s inherent lack of tensile strength. These fibers effectively absorb tensile stresses and restrain crack propagation, resulting in a more durable and reliable concrete matrix.
Special Features
- Very high resistance to plastic, drying, and long-term shrinkage cracks
- Robust, homogeneous, and well-distributed fiber mix
Advantages
- Controls plastic and drying shrinkage cracks
- Reduces settlement cracks and micro-cracks
- Improves overall durability of the structure
- Enhances abrasion, fatigue, and impact resistance of surfaces
- Provides better resistance against freeze–thaw cycles
- Improves cohesion and fresh concrete properties
- Better resistance against spalling during fire exposure
Technical Properties
